I’ve been taking British Supplements’ Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Magnesium, Zinc, and NAC, and I wanted to share my experience, particularly with NAC (N-Acetylcysteine).
I have ulcerative colitis and was enduring a flare-up when I decided to experiment with NAC for its anti-inflammatory properties. Of course, the hospital wanted to put me on Rinvoq, an immune suppressant that comes with a black box warning for serious risks like DVT, stroke, and even death. After doing my research, I found positive results in studies exploring NAC for IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease).
The standard daily dosage for patients in remission is 600mg, but I doubled my dose, and I genuinely feel it’s helping to reduce my inflammation levels. My bowel movements are now normal, and I feel much better overall.

According to Grok... taking 5,000 IU of vitamin D daily, is above the upper intake level recommended in the UK. (I say 400 is way too low)

Still very early days but after a couple of weeks I went 5 nights sleeping for 5/6 hours, I then went back to normal 2 hours for visit to loo whilst I was away for weekend’s, since getting home I’m now back to 5/6 hours unbroken sleep, long May it continue. A point to note whilst reading other reviews, I hadn’t picked up that the supplements should be kept in the fridge, I do now.
I’ve been taking collagen from BS for 6 months now and am delighted with the results. I’ve suffered from soft nails and dry skin and hair for many years but now my nails are much stronger, growing longer and my hair and skin are noticeably less dry. I’m not having to use copious amounts of body lotion and conditioner. An added bonus is that my eyelashes have grown longer. I’ve always had short, sparse eyelashes but now they are thicker and longer. I will continue with the collagen because of these great results. I do take other BS supplements - Lions Mane, in particular, I believe has helped in clearing my brain fog and enabling me to concentrate better. My mood is improved too. Excellent delivery timescale from BS too. My orders are quickly processed and delivered which is great.
